Despite the fact on the outstanding change companies are having with mergers and acquisitions, these both have multiple working and financial differences. For example, in a merger, the liabilities and the companies’ assets are united. Their decisions are made together leading to only one organization’s path to remuneration and gains (Mason, et.al.2021). There is frequently an opportunity for new improvements and new practices and approaches. With the acquisition, on the other hand, one entity buys the other entity and that one will be the one adopting the policies and the practices created by the buyer (Mason, et.al.2021). Nurses are essential in providing up-to-date information during the Due diligence in the merging consideration, data with respect to workforce problems, and norms that are seen to a culturally level among other aspects. Another example is that nurse leaders can create a futuristic vision that will benefit both entities for the merger and also for the acquisition ( Mason, et.al.2021).

To ensure good leadership in the field of nursing, according to our book we should put into practice some principles that would help us in this process. Within the principles that we must take into account to ensure a successful merger or acquisition occurs in their organizations is always being aware of creating a culture of reciprocal help around the service, where we all learn from each other, understand what the important things around the fundamental interests of patients and workers are. (Diana Mason, 2021) Communication has always been the key to success on many occasions, therefore communicating with people at all levels to fix a situation or to improve others is the best way. Knowing that excellence is the point to be reached and evaluating the goals and the interventions to get there, it is our job to always reward good work. the position of leaders is based on the respect and reciprocity of information between the workers.
